If home defense is your reason for owning a gun, then naturally you are going to have it in your bedroom. And if you own more than one gun, naturally they will probably be in other rooms (safeguarded, of course). That doesn't mean you are paranoid. If it was me and I had a collection, I would probably buy the biggest, heaviest safe I could.
