Fair enough.

At that time, those bikes were street bikes and have been subsequently dropped from the model line in favor of the new superbikes.

UMMM.... In case you havent noticed, theres an R1, GSXR1k, CBR1KRR, ZX10R... So you dont have to say that. I, for one, would never buy one of their smaller siblings.

Which of the bikes you listed is the same as its little brother other than displacement?

the new r1 is a redesign, and Yamaha is best at keeping them seperate. The gsxr and cbr are very close to the same.

As I said 3 times now, ive got no interest in a 600cc engine in a sportbike.

GSXR's look very similar.

The Honda's have less similarities than the Yammies.

I never debated your interest in a 600cc bike. I do find your interest in this thread ironic though.

I still love sportbikes man. I didnt wake up one day and say 'Hey, I hate sportbikes, I want a Harley now', just at 6'4, 290, im not exactly comfortable on modern litre bikes.

1200\T595\955's are all still cool street bikes.

Don't take my word for it...I still like RF-900's and ride a 16 year old bike.
