it costs money for the domain name, for the servers to house all the useless shit we post. also costs to upgrade software and what not... no it's probably not a fortune... but why the fuck should Trip have to come out of pocket all the time for us? I don't care if it's memberships or a donation... just think we need to give $ back to him (regardless how he uses it)

as far as the give away and prizes... you need to read. we suggested them to help stimulate participation in the POTM and maybe just to build a little comradery among members...

I'll tell you what, I'll pay all the forum costs for one year but I get to be the admin...

I really don't think that Nick wants our money. When people pay money to a forum, club, whatever, they generally start to feel that they should have some say over how it is run. How about this, $10/year for membership but that membership allows you to vote for mods and we have an annual election. Now that might be worth paying for....

BTW if you are going to ask for money for the forum's expenses then I believe that we have a right to know exactly what it costs. I consider Nick and I to be friends, and I honestly appreciate him putting this forum together BUT I know that he did it because for the most part, he enjoys it. I'm not going to "pay" him for that. Besides, last I knew it costs less than $200/year to operate a forum...

I feel ya... I just hate to see people foot the bill all the time, and I'd like the forum to grow. as far as voting for Mods... ehh I think we have enough as is... some get carried away but they're by far the best team I've seen on any other forum I've been on... especially with our daily bullshit, so I can't have too much heart ache when they lash out harshly

Yea well, you aren't ever on the receiving end of that lashing so....

Oh and I'm not saying that we ADD mods, I'm talking about voting for the team entire.

Screw that man. I just want to give some money and wash my hands of responsibility. All that other crap is how I ended up moderating on 4 different boards. I've already got enough shit going on.

Always? My problem is that I tend to say things plain without beating around the bush. Recently, because they didn't specifically call me a "fag" or "bitch" but only implied it, I got an infraction when I answered back directly.

When NtS called me a "nigger" and I posted his information and linked the thread to the Ruff Riders forum in Ohio, I got banned and he got a "warning".

When I openly stated what a LOT of people were saying via pm, including some mods, about a certain couple. I got moderated publicly and slapped on the back privately.

I've had mods pm me to be mean to certain ex-members...

Anyway, sure I've deserved it on occasion but if you are going to claim zero bias well, I thought you were more of a man than that.
