Newbie from Atlanta

Okie dokie

Well I live east of Atlanta Georgia. I'm 23 and am a couple of eyelashes away from complete loser. But that's another story for something else. We are here about Motorcycles.

My Motorcycle history:
Despite I'm from Atlanta I don't ride a "Busa" that is stretched 10ft and looks like it was designed by Liberace.

I got my first motorcycle last July. It was a 1994 Yamaha XJ600 (SecaII) that I picked up for $1500. Nothing great but a good beginer bike that I rode every day. Infact I picked the bike up July 9th with 18085 and have a picture from August 17th with 19,925miles on it in just over a month. That's 1840 miles I put on.
Which you guys will love this but here's a picture of me on my bike my 1st day with it...

Great gear right?

Now here is my current ride.
It's a 1996 Honda CBR600 F3 that I call the "Project Flying Turd". Mainly because I bought it knowing it needed work done to it and decided to learn about bikes.
Here is how I bought it(Yes that's rattle can)...

Then I stripped it down to this...

Here is how she sits now...

(Yes that is Carbon Fiber exhaust)

Mods:
I have new springs and needles in the carbs with the needles shimmed for a full Vance&Hines exhaust system. I put in a BMC Air Filter and will hopefully have an Ignition advancer soon. That's about all I plan to do to the bike. Well I'll be doing the body prep soon and laying some paint on it in hopefully a couple of months.

Oh yeah. I know my first picture is going to bug people so here I am with a Technic leather jacket...

Should hopefully have some leather pants fairly soon.
