Apparently a car tire on the rear is a fairly common mod for Pacific Coast riders. Then again, those guys ain't normal.

seen it on cruisers and touring bikes, never on a sportbike. Tried it on a harley once, its not as ahrd riding as you would expect, just a little extra effort to turn, and maintain hat turn. The bike wants to stand up straight

On the upside, you can save weight by tossing out the sidestand. You'd never need it again.
