$250... bullshit. It only cost them $250 because they have tens of thousands of dollars worth of shit laying around. If you or I were to attempt something like this, I'd expect our budget to be somewhere closer to $5k.

Yeah, $250 was the cost of the junker they started with (and ended up not using anyway). Even with all the sponsored parts, I'm guessing this wasn't what the rest of us would call a small budget.
