Schools here started a week and a half ago but they get out in May. Adds 10+ mins to the commute in the AM and 15+ in the PM. I think I'll be working from home more often, anyway.

There's schools that get out past May?

I say we adopt Japans school days. What is it? 300 days a year or something? Kids living in their own apartments.

In MI schools started after Labor day and got out mid-June. In TN they started Aug 5th and get out mid-May.

My high school didn't get out until the end of June. I graduated June 29th, way back when.

Yea I got to thinking after I posted. I have an aunt that is a teacher in NC and they start earlier and get out later (june). Us south people don't do that. You wouldn't want us to get too smart now wood ya?

I'll bet the Panama City PD wrote 200 speeding in a school zone tickets. Every school I went by had so many cars pulled over it looked like sobriety checkpoints on the 4th of July
