At the same time you could also say that your hometown's residents turned your hometown in to a ghost town. WalMart can build a store but they can't force people to shop there. If the residents hadn't chosen to go there it would be the WalMart that was out of business.

I always check out in the garden section. Hardly ever any lines in there.

People block whole aisles to socialize and it takes forever to check out.
I get the occasional item there but I will shop somewhere more expensive just for a better and faster shopping experience. Dislike. |

I shop there all the time, don't hate or love them. They are just convenient for me.

I only go in Wal-mart when absolutely necessary.
I have other options and I prefer them.

I don't like giant stores. Going there is unavoidable for certain things though.

yeah they are the closest thing to my house for shopping, by quite a few miles. I do a lot of the shopping there. I don't mind saving a little money there either.
they did put one local grocery store out of business in our town. Broke my heart to see that little price gouging bastard go out of business. seems when you know you're the only place to shop in a small town it just feels good to stick it to the locals on price. Yeah he tried dropping his prices down to reality after Walmart opened but too late. no one went there anymore. |

Walmart is a last-ditch effort type thing for me. I avoid it for the most part, but do go occasionally. For instance, the other night, I needed 9mm ammo and cranberry juice at like 2am. Where else could I have gotten those items.
The people at walmart, though, absolutely fucking sicken me- employees and patrons alike. The vast majority are obese, uneducated, trailer trash walking around in fucking ridiculous clothing with absolutely no sense of shame or care for anyone other than themselves.
