oops ed here

so i get on my xbox tonight, and first game it locks up, i turn it off, back on........makes some noises......

RROD!!!!!!

but then i think cool, i have the best buy PSP extended warranty.......new xbox tom.............wooowooo..........i want the new MW2 version since i have a Halo ed. box.

find my receipt.............

bought 10/5/07

2yr warranty

ARGGGHHHHH..........outta warranty by 2 mos to just get replacement.......

now i gotta wait around for MS to do their business.

just in time for me to get laid off and my box will be at MS HQ getting refurbed

my box will have to get sent back to microsoft, and they will in turn send me out a replacement box.

so no xbox for ? weeks.

When I had to send mine in the turnaround time was 7 days. I was surprised. They just sent me a new one anyway rather than fixing mine and sending it to me. I checked the serial number when the new one showed up.

What? I'll have you know that according to several people on the forum, Microsoft has virtually eliminated the RROD and the X-Box is FAR superior to the PS3 in every way!!!

sent out 12/3 arrived at center 12/7

just recieved notice that the box is on its way back today 12/15
hopefully will be here by fri. so i can take my friend his loaner box back.

It keeps telling me it can't read gta4 while I'm playing the game.

yeah, mine locked up like 1x the week before, i ejected the disc, ran fine. 2nd time it locked up, RROD came up.
