Anyone gotten a 190/55/17 on edge just street riding?
Just wondering if any of you have completely erased chicken strips using a 190/55/17 on the street????

Nope mine is a "50" series and come to think of it the strips aren't completely erased on it either.

not a 190/55, but the 190/50 was completely strip free two days after getting them installed. The first day the bike spent in the back of the truck, and on the second day we were at the Gap.

I don't have any problem getting a 50 series to the edge, we'll see with the 55...

I don't have a problem with getting a 190/50/17 there, but I don't have any experience with the 190/55/17 yet, but I asked because my friend's 09 R1 has them and that tire has not seen the edge yet, with him riding it, me and another buddy who all get there on the 190/50/17.

Scrub any tire to its edge? Its easy. Lean the opposite way. Insane chicken strip erasing maneuver garaunteed to impress all that show up at the Sonic!
