I bet they had one heck of a barbeque afterwards!!! I don't know, I have a
katana that I bought in Korea almost 30 years ago that I am certain can perform all of those tasks with the right person behind it. (ie not me)... I am never looking at this site again! I used to have a 100+ knife collection and I could easily spend quite a few pay checks with these guys!!! http://www.coldsteel.com/ |

I like how they get the fat dude to demonstrate the weaponry.
Makes the slow motion reply even better. |

Yeah, I hear ya Lon, I've got quite a few of their knives. They are the best I've owned. If you do decide to get any, go to Special Projects http://www.ltspecpro.com/ same company at decent discounts on all the same products and you can get 2nds and closeouts real cheap sometimes. The fat dude is Lynn Thompson, founder of the company, he likes to do the vids, you can tell...it is funny watching him |

i.... I'm just not sure...
i mean, what are they trying to advertise? a home invasion defense? "how do you defeat that?"... um i'll take a crossbow or newer, alex. or perhaps just some fitness and agility to move out of the way of your 5 warm up strokes. |

No kidding. I find myself browsing them often... I want a few of their blades but can't make myself spend the $$. They do hack up a fair bit of meat in those videos

I was kind of thinking the same thing. If this were the 15th century those would be formidable. Of course in the 15th century the fat guy would have been long dead from the diabetus along with Wilford Brimley. Today, I'm not too concerned about a fat guy with a 20lb sword or pickaxe.

I have quite a few of their knives and not only are they a great product, they're a lot cheaper than other companies. I'm going shopping, thanks for the links.

you can have whatever sword you want.... I will take my Glock over a sharp piece of steel any day or night. Then again the Mossberg 12 gauge that I am about to buy will seriously hinder your chances of even raising that thing before you die of Lead Poisoning.

Interesting... whomever said that a sword is a more effective weapon than a gun, crossbow, etc? I have swords and knives because I think that they look cool on my mantle.
