pay off the debt... it feels great. I gave up my spending habit (shopping) so I could save money to pay off the credit cards and improve my credit....... It's very tough, but the ending.... is well. credit that would better to get those nicer things.... |

I love splurging... but c'mon, you've got your goal to pay off the credit. This time, I'd say skip the trip and get that CC paid down. Cause seriously "oh i'll take 1k to play" yeah, but food, drinks (if you're out and not at the casino) strip clubs.... yeah. 1k no way... you're looking at more. |

i guess it depends on the discipline involved...you appear to always make the responsible choices...so if you dont typically do this kinda thing I say go for it...having spent all my life making the "responsible" choice so others could do what they wanted, well, I have reached the point that I look at things individually as they come along and if its something I feel its worth splurging on, I go for it...like track days and Indy...cuz I dont know bout you peeps...but skydiving while im up there is calling my name... , I also realize that while I may get my cards paid off, debt seems to forever be in the future...like death and taxes...

Well, I tried booking the flights, but the Southwest site kept saying "we can't price this flight at this time." I called and they said they were updating it and you needed 14 days advance notice to get that price. 14 days?? I can understand if you're updating the site, but if I need 14 days notice, then you might want to update the site a bit earlier. Shit, those prices were just there today, 4 days from the date I would leave, and you tell me I need 14 days notice?? I guess my decision is made.
