why not just get a gym membership? you'd practically pay the same thing for a bowflex til you paid it off, and it it'd give you an excuse to go for a ride.

Because I don't like all the people and waiting for shit to open up. We have a free gym on base but it's so fucking packed when I get off work. I'll be able to jump right on my Bowflex at home, take a shower, eat and then do whatever, nig.

shit dawg half the fun of going to the gym for me is talking to the girls.


buy a bowflex then, hulk. havent you seen how ripped the guys on the comercials are?

I have nothing more than an adjustable bench, barbell, curl bar, and 300 lbs of weights. If you are creative, you can do a lot of exercises with just that.

Cheaper than a Bowflex, cheaper and more convenient than a gym membership. You just have to be cautious if you're going to lift without a spotter, or put your bench somewhere that it won't hurt anything to dump the plates off of the bar in the event you can't lift the weight.

I'm a big advocate of the bowflex, the Physical thearpy clinic I used to work in had three of them and we could treat just about anything with it. They are great machines and well worth the money if your going to actually use it!
