I thought the movie was good and I sort of understood the ending...

they didn't blow up the bridge (or I didn't think they did) I thought the helicopter flew into it and destroyed it... but there are other bridges.. and do they have a zoo on the island? figured that's where the animals came from anyways...

that was pretty much my take on it as well, the whole crap with the dog dying was just bullshit...and yes, sappy as it may be, I kinda like the whole happy ending kinda thing, but him dying and then them getting all safe and crap, waaaaayyyy too unrealistic...but thats why we watch movies, the entertainment factor...as for the animals, yeah, it was the zoos i think...
