Stock US ZX10R dyno'd
Check this out... a stock US ZX-10R with just a slip-on and a Power Commander picks up 18 hp at the tire, taking it to 188 rear wheel horsepower (that's well over 200 at the crank)

They are missing the third variable in the video.
They should have done a run with the stock exhaust and ecu jumped. According to the internets, the jumper mod alone is worth 2000 rpm and 22 hp. http://hellforleathermagazine.com/20...-than-s1000rr/ Quote:

Kawi's stock exhausts have some pretty crazy routing and giant catalysts these days. A full system ought to improve her voice quite a bit. I'm glad I don't have any money right now, id be at the local dealer trying to get a black one on order with a full beet system

So is it really built to handle modifications or did they really de-tune it for street use?
That seems like a really ridiculous gain for just a slip on and re-tune. |
