I went to Ikea yesterday and bought a kitchen countertop (solid oak) and a 4-drawer kitchen base cabinet to start making the workbench. I need to grab a couple things from home depot (4x4's for the other two legs, bolts, etc) and then I'm ready to start building it.

I've got a pretty good plan in my head for building it, I think it will turn out really nicely.
