I know you're all asking if No Worries would buy one. No, it's great for racing, but not that good for the street. It has the same problems that all the latest liter bikes have: A super-tall first gear. Here's what Cycle World says "Net result was that we needed to maintain 9,000 rpm throughout the launch, while aiming for full clutch engagement by 60 mph."
My old CBR made 50 lbs/ft of torque at 2,000. The RSV4 makes 50 pounds at 5,000. The 1000F made 60 pounds at 4,000, the RSV4 makes 60 at 8,000. The tall first gear only compounds the lack of torque down low. Horsepower? That's for bragging rights. If you have to know, the CBR made 113 at 9,250. The RSV4 makes 146 at 12,500.
