This fucking patient pushed me to the edge last night.

Guy was evalluated at a hospital across the street from us, makes up a story that he wasnt seen by aspecialist then said they wouldnt take care of him because he didnt have insurance. None of which is true esp since kings county sees people who dont have ins. I speak with the ophthalmology resident who saw him and the er doc and they gave me the same story so I knew this guy was a liar, I just couldnt figure out his motives.

Turns out it took several hrs before I could talk with ophtho and they tell me they will write the same consult and leave it in his chart and he can follow up as an outpatient.

So I tell him the deal and wha tthey said, he says theyre lying, I tell him he is and I will trust our resident and an er doc I have known for over 5 years over his nappy haired bucktoothed ghetto ass (didnt say the last part, just venting) so he starts carrying on, then tries putting words in my mouth and called him on that. Now the mother of a pt I am also taking care of witnesses all of this, he tries to play her against me and she says I never said what he was claiming. Then he pulls the race card. He says as a black woman cant you see what I am saying, I ripped into him there and told him he was outof here, had security come in and have him removed.

I would have done it myself but obviously there were witnesses.Shit like this realy pisses me off when someone so fucking ignorant has to stoop to shitlike this. Pissed him off more that the lady sided with me. I would so love to see his sorry ass outside the hospital. Gee officer I dont know how he fell face first into the pavement 8 or 9 times, but I was trying to help him.
