the bottom of the bags are some sort of heat sheild that look like they are completly water proof, the bags have two straps that go across the top of them, so it looks like they have alot of adjustablity
i have the magnetic tank and even without the safety clip on the front it withstood several 100+ bursts and one 127+ run so they stay on, i have a smaller one that was on the kawi when i punted it at deals gap, was still in place after the wreck
