Look at Golf. What the fuck is that? Dude has a ball, paid good money for it. Puts the ball on a little stick, and then whacks the fuck out of it with a bigger stick. Ball goes flying into the woods. Problem solved, right?

No. Now the dude goes looking for the ball so he can hit it again. He's afraid he might have lost the ball, and he's freaking out. This is where I get lost. If you liked the ball so goddamned much, why the fuck did you hit it with a stick, and make it fly into the woods? Idiots.
