My Tuono is FI and the SV is carbed. To be honest, when it comes to throttle control, they feel similar. Both are motorcycles and go faster when I twist the grip.

I mention this because it's a major difference between the two SV models that you listed (Fuel injected vs Carbed). Just pick the body style that you like better. I got a 1st gen because I love the tube frame and the price was right (picked it up early 05). You can't go wrong either way.
