Hey.... I'm planning a trip. Probably in the next week or so. We're plotting tonight on the details, but it will include delivering a motorcycle to Jacksonville and meeting my husband in Ft. Lauderdale.

By all means you KNOW you've got a guest room here (though since you're delivering a bike, I think you're staying in a spectacular beach condo  )Fort Lauderdale is more like 4.5 to 5 hours, and we have friends you need to hook up with there. OK, so I'm waiting for final info from Ms. Chick. But, planning on it. I'll leave here after Evan's flight takes off on Sunday about 3:00.... and see how far I get. It isn't the first day that gets me, it's the second.
 The one thing I need to figure out how to get to Lauderdale.... maybe I'll rent a car for the day.
