Default Finally did it.

So, I wrecked my bike a couple of weeks ago. Not too awful bad but I haven't been able to ride for a while and had to grow back the top of my pinkie. Insurance paid out and I'm waiting on the last part to come in, but it wasn't awesome.

Been through it a few times because of two idiot cagers and another rider, who didn't know how to brake. I don't recommend trying it again, because it isn't better the second time around.

At least your ok.
Your pinky had it coming. That'll teach that little fucker a lesson it won't soon forget.

How did it happen or will we just assume it involved cosplay and bear porn?

This. Every once in a while I learn something from a "rider down" story, and yours may be one of those.

Glad you're mostly ok and that you'll be getting back on the horse soon.

It was pretty textbook. I was slowing into a turn during a fresh rain on a road with less than stellar surface on a bald front tire. Completely preventable and I feel like a tard. The insurance payed out and replaced all my parts plus all my gear. New parts are bolted on and all the replacement gear is in, plus my pinkie healed up, so I'll be out riding this Friday. Don't let tires go people, and definitely give the rain a second to wash the road clean.
