Longest ride?
Wasn't a post in here so thought id see if anyone could beat this. Last year had a buddy on a 04 GSXR 1000 ride from Council Bluffs, IA to Denver, Vegas, Cali (up and down highway 1) then few more southern states, back to Lincoln NE, then home to CB IA again. Couldnt feel his right pinky for a month and a half. Did this all in 5 days and around 3,900 miles or so (can't remember exactly. He found out about the 2ct recall on the way from Lincoln to Council Bluffs. The tread started to separate from the core of the tire causing huge vibrations. Did this with a backpack strapped to the tail and nothing else. He ran into someone from Alaka doing the same thing. I wish I could just up and leave on a trip like this but don't think I could follow through.

I rode my SV to San Antonio (1400 mi???) from Knoxville, 19 hrs, only stopping for gas, a drink, and a snack.
Left at midnight and arrived at 9 pm |

Think I did a little more than 750 miles in a day. That was just riding all around Vegas though. Just to ride. Not to go anywhere.

A friend-of-a-friend's uncle (it's true, I swear!) has a VStrom that he rode from Sioux City, IA to Alaska and back. He put 85,000 miles on that VStrom before he replaced it with a new one.
The best I've done was about 300 miles in one day. That was on my SV650. |

I wonder how long the guy with the 04 F4i that put 100K on last year's longest ride is.
Somebody want to PM him BTW, I would, but can't. |
