It still means that semi can kill you. But, in a battle of civic vs semi - law of gross tonnage means that civic will lose. So, maybe that civic should leave the semi the fuck alone...

I don't, the Semi's that come through here drive like fucking idiots just as much as the normal person. They only problem with that, is they have a vehicle that demolishes others.

Semi's hastily pulling in front of me when they have little to no room, so they can get in the passing lane and hold up traffic is a daily occurence.

I have worked along side a lot of individuals who have their commercial license, no way in hell I would trust them over anyone else. Too many of them have this "I rule the road" complex.

Of course, the only major automobile incident I have been in was when a Semi plowed into me in freakin bumper to bumper traffic.

I think 85 is too fast for all lanes on the freeway. What they really need to do is mark each lane with a speed range such as:
Lane 1: 85-75mph
Lane 2: 75-65mph
Lane 3: 65 and below

Great idea but wil never work in the ny metro area. idiots here drive in whatever lane they want and if you highbeam someone in the left lane to move over they may shoot you

When we travel for trackdays we know were getting closer to home because the driving gets worse.

Anyone who has a real problem with this must have not ever driven in Texas. There are places, especially in West Texas where there are literally no corners for 20 miles. Driving 65 on their super wide and smooth oil corporation funded paved roads is like running 30 on a normal interstate system...
