There's been good and bad.
I don't want to sound ungrateful for the good, so I'll just say I'm looking forward to a better 2011.

It's been up and down.
I moved into my own place (yay), got a new job (yay) but took a pay cut (boo), though it's a less stressful job (yay), but it's getting eliminated in May (boo), got financial aid for school all straightened out to start school in a week (yay), dealt with some ongoing depression (boo). I think that's peaks and valleys of the year, as best as I can think of it. I'm hoping for more peaks, less valleys next year.

Erik got a job after 1-1/2 years of unemployment, making it easier on us. But he hates it (not busy enough) so it makes things miserable for us.
Got to do a long road trip on the bike, something we have talked about for a while and finally did in May. Planning to do again. Some ups and some downs, nothing spectacular but nothing terrible. |

Yea... just kinda meh. I don't want to say it was as horrific as 2009 with the loss of my father, but it just wasnt great stuff either. Just as most of you are saying it went fast as shit.
Good things include getting my Associates degree in entrepreneurship and learning that I only had a year left for my Bachelors in marketing and PR. I got back on two wheels with the purchase of my little Honda. I left the States for the first time and went to Italy, France, and Spain. 2011 will be better. I will graduate in 3 months. Hopefully land a good career that will pay enough money for me to get my own house with my friends, a new car/truck, and new(ish) bike.

Some good, some bad.
Grandfather died. Got to see my city trashed, first by a bunch of professional protesters, then by the police. Didn't make a whole bunch at the photography game, this year. Ending the year with a case of Bursitis. ... but ... Have a good job with a good income, and good bosses. Got back in the saddle after largely not riding for a couple of years. Have an idea how to try and make up for the income that I didn't make, through photography.
