So how exactly do you get your dog to stop irritating the cat?
For 4 months, our 6mo dobey is nonstop harassment machine to our furball who keeps to her cat tree and other high altitude hangouts. We keep him separate during the day, and the cat is left out of the room, but once all the doors and crates are open - it's game time. He'll leave her alone if shes not walking on the ground or within mouth range but that's not the story when she tries moving from one spot to another. |

Yell at/discipline your dog in whatever manner you normally do. He may go after the cat at first, but a quick command from you should keep him from harassing the cat. That worked for me anyway.

All right.. Casper is a little over a year old now. Time for pics.
From when we first got him. Rather then bark, he jumps on the screen.. it's in shreds now. He hates sharing, but is not sure how to navigate this situation.. I believe this is Christmas day.. Couch.. Welcome back! Shit quality, but here's Casper and Indy (aunt & uncle's Vizsla) playing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NyITsgyM6nM Edit!! Love everyone's pics! I kinda stopped posting here because all I could say is awwwww

first pic is Slash, American Bulldog. he goes nuts whenever we do yard work. i don't know if he thinks he's helping or what, but he loves sticks/branches/bushes/anything at all.
3rd pic is Piglet, Boston Terrier. he makes the most ridiculously cute faces. i swear sometimes he knows he's posing for the camera. anything Slash has, he wants. it could be a lump of diarrhea; if it's got Slash's interest, he's all over it. they're great together. |

well i'll have to get pics later but apparently i have a new pet. went to let the chickens out this morning and there was a female peacock on top of their fencing. she's been here all day and has alerady moved into the coop and made a couple friends.
asked a few neighbors and no one claims to have lost one. guess she'll be here for awhile. set her up a "private" coop so she won't have to sleep with the chickens if she doesn't want to. |

Thanks. Took a few tries to get the timing right, but the outcome was worth it.
