Thanksgiving was over a month ago. But I'll take a pumpkin pie and sweet potatoes in all their forms any day.

I disagree.
My mother makes the best sweet potato dish on the face of this earth. Once you've had it, everything else pales. Definitely my favorite dish.

Why don't you drive to the airport and fly here. My Mom would be more than happy to have you in her home. Erik's sister and BIL are coming to her house along with everyone else under the sun.

My favorite food of the holiday is oyster filling
It's a simple to make dish consisting of OTC crackers, oysters, butter, milk and a bit of pepper and salt. But boy is it good. Jeff |

Stuffing is definitely my favorite, followed by beer and mashed potatoes.
The cold turkey sandwich ill be eating shortly is always a great thing too. |

I have a new favorite - Monkey Bread. I don't know what it is, but it's good.

I should start celebrating American as well as Canadian Thanksgiving....
My mother always makes this sweet potato casserole. A Southern treat we learned of in Tejas.... Y'all prolly know it. I make it now for peeps up here and they love it. Sweet potatoes, butter, brown sugar (maple syrup), pecans and marshmallows. It rocks!!! |
