Totally off topic:
I've never seen Full Metal Jacket but my father asked me if he'd like it and if I knew anything about it. His father was a WWII vet and he enjoys army movies. I recommended it.....glad to hear it's spoken of so highly. |

It's a little 'dark' but to me...a very good movie.

Probably THE best war movie ever produced. It follows them throught the hell of basic training, then to war. Awesome movie, best war movie in my collection.

So 2.5 hours of everyone's time got wasted, plus probably $20-30K worth of airline salaries and jet fuel, and they didn't charge him? I don't get it.
