Got 300 miles in. Rode 150 miles to have lunch with my son, and turned around and came home. It was 75 degrees today.

And I found out that my reserve will take me 8 miles, which was just far enough to get me to the gas station.

and because it's setup so that each side is separate... at 190ish... I gotta lean the bike on it's side to get the fuel to the petcock side... so it's kind of a secondary reserve... then at 218 I gotta LAY the bike down... to let that last little bit flow over to the pet cock... so that's like tertiary reserve (dunno how much this last bit will get me... as I stopped 4 miles later) still have about 20 miles worth of un useable fuel... but ehh... such is life. |

I'm going to head out tomorrow (took the day off because it looks like it will be nice) and head down route 20 ( http://www.usroute20ny.com/ ) to take in some sights.
