I've got a Fieldsheer Titanium Air that has worked good for me. I'm 6'4" and about 200 lbs, and it seems to fit me fine.

I am in the same boat as the OP.
I am just keeping an eye on the clearance sections of the various websites for a decent brand / style.

My Fieldsheer is pretty nice.... thick and heavy for a mesh jacket and the armor stays in place... pretty good air flow...

however, I miss my PowerTrip jacket on some of the hotter days... it was REAL thin around the body - mesh like basketball shorts, but it had leather arms... thin, but worked. The first layer of mesh tore at the shoulder seam when I wrecked, but it protected pretty well... the armor did slide and I got burnt a bit on the 'bows through the leather, but I'd rock another one in a heartbeat.

I think I paid $75 for my Fieldsheer w/ pants... and like $50 for my PowerTrip. Closeouts for gear are the only way to go IMHO.

I wear seperate armor under my jackets. I wear my mesh all summer. Sucks when a cold rain storm hits. LoL

The Tour Master GX AIR and AIR II jackets are very nice IMO. CE armor, zip out liners (one water/wind proof and one insulated). I have the AIR II that I wear in summer and it is like not wearing a jacket when you're moving. The only place I feel heat is under the back pad until I get stopped at a light or something. They are also machine washable.

How much moolah you want to spend?

BMW mesh gear is high quality, comes in tall sizes and cost a pretty penny too.
