The point of the bill is a good one, but without reading it, it's hard to say how far it goes without reading it.

While I don't like the term "slippery slope", as it implies it is impossible to say "This far, but no further", I'll give your comment a solid "HELL YES!"

It creates a situation in which a woman could be beaten by an abusive partner, and then have to prove that it wasn't her idea.
