GV1200 Madura
Got my blade up for sale locally and I'm semi officially looking for the rarest and least popular of the 80's v4 muscle bikes. If you are aware of one in rideable condition with clean title on the east coast in the next few months here would be a good spot to gab. Market seems to be around $1500 so lets keep it under 2.
TIA

A Madura would be totally cool! Met a guy with one in Rhode Island in 2004 on my trip to Maine.
Nice, well taken care of bike. I approve of this idea.

I've had a running Suzuki since 1976. Except when they're not running because of an electrical problem. The R/R can be replaced with an Electrolux model. The stator only lasts 15 years. But the most problems are in the connections. To each other and to ground. But they can be cleaned and/or replaced.
As for the Madura, I could look through some old magazines for a test, but I remember some Suzuki riders calling it the Manure. Suzuki also used that V-4 engine in a touring bike called the Cavalcade. I think it got good reviews. |
