Would eBay help if it was your stuff?
Somehow, I doubt it. i think ebay is only helping the police because this is in the news due to the people involved...
Two housekeepers who work for David and Victoria Beckham have been arrested for suspicion of theft. Police busted Eric Emmett, 55, and his wife June, 56, as well as a 25-year-old man, after several of the Beckham couple's items -- including Victoria's dresses and David's soccer memorabilia -- ended up on eBay, the Associated Press reports. Eric Emmett told BBC News the allegations are "nonsense." See what Posh and Becks used to look like! While no charges have been filed, police issued the following statement: "We are currently investigating an allegation of theft from a private address in Sawbridgeworth. The theft was reported to police at 4:45 p.m. on Friday, October 10, 2008. A 56-year-old woman from Essex and a 55-year-old man, also from Essex, have been arrested in connection with this incident and are currently on police bail." Added an eBay rep: "If it transpires that our site was being used to list stolen goods then we will work with the police to press for the harshest penalties." |

I think Ebay would promptly charge me some sort of fee and then take 2 months to reply to any kind of request. Does anyone think that there is a lot less Motorcycle stuff on ebay than there used to be? Maybe there fees have driven people to places like Craigslist?
There once was a day that I could find one of just about anything on there now its kinda slim...

I know what you guys mean. ebay has driven away a lot of customers with thier greedy fees.
its likely that now many parts not listed by salvage companies on ebay are probably stolen pieces, or from bikes that are just completely destroyed. |

Ebay is all about their bottom line. They don't give a shit about the buyers or the sellers as long as they get their money.
