Default i got a new toy

Ask my mom's Boyfriend
if he would teach me how to shoot(ex-military and always packs)
But you have to be 18 to fire a gun in a range SO Saturday he took me to dicks and bought me a Daisy powerline 008 air-pistol, targets, Co2, BB's and High Voracity hallow points $133 for the gun and acc.

Monday i shoot it for the first time, not what i was used to (only shot a 280-300FPS Airsoft and an old Daisy) did some soda-can shots then got out a target and went about 15' 6/8 where in the black....Since i have unloaded 2 clips on a JOLT can(MURDERED IT) rapid fire baby! Semi-auto i'm used to Manual reloads
Also popped a few pellets in a piece of wood
the Max precision rounds penetrate about the length of the tip and the Hallow points just leave an indentation of the tip

The cool thing is it KINDA feels like a real gun, only lighter
The clip is a rotary 8 round.

The co2 goes under the left side of the grip...just like the OLD Daisy i have
only there is a lever to "install" the 12-gram tank

Body is plastic, lever is metal along with ALL internals

Specifications ACTION: CO2 pwered semi-automatic
SIGHTS: Blad and ramp front, fixed open rear
SAFETY: rotary hammer lock
MAX. MUZZLE VELOCITY: 480 fps (reviews say its only about 385 with BB's)
OVERALL LENGTH: 7.1 inches
CALIBER: .177 (4.5 mm)
STOCK/FOREARM/GRIP: Molded black checkered
MAGAZINE: 8 shot rotary clip
BARREL: rifled steel
MAX. SHOOTING DISTANCE: 240 yards
CAPACITY: 8 shot rotary clip

Its also quite loud...heheh i like it (louder then a silence 9mm)

The other choice was a "desert eagle" with blow back(also a .177 cal)

My next one will be a Desert eagle.
Full metal, blowback CO2, 6mm plastic rounds at 380-400FPS

Looks like fun

I keep wanting to get out with my Benjamin air rifle, but that thing makes a decent pop when you shoot it, and I'm afraid neighbors would call management (or the cops) on me.

Lol Fuck the pigs

Nothing illegal about an air-rifle.

Let the cops show up and have your target in the front yard and the gun put away
"no officer, i wasn't shooting anything"

Pretty much anything with a projectile is illegal, btw. Hell, in most places you can't shoot a bow and arrow in town.

lol, you better check your laws amigo, you can easily get a felony rap by fucking around with a BB Gun in city limits. I have a friend who's got a nice felony record from carrying a paintball gun....and I live in Tx.

Ouch!

I've gotten the a number of times when I've pointed out the potential for picking up a felony rap for running from the cops (unsuccessfully) when the 'just run' bench-racing discussion has come up. I couldn't imagine picking one up for something as innocuous as that!
(assuming he wasn't threatening anyone with it)

And you don't want to check that box that says "Have you ever been convicted of a felony?" for the rest of your life.

Until he shaves off the mustache in the avatar pic, the felony record is implied.
