Moving Day!
I just wanted to express how freakin' giddy I am that today is moving day!
I'm sitting at work just getting more excited by the minute that after work I get to go and get the keys to MY new apartment. I've lived with a lot of different roommates and flatmates. I've lived in different parts of the world. And finally (FINALLY!) I'm moving into an apartment that's ALL mine with just me! :nana: |

Luckily moving around the world has really pared down the amount of junk I have.
I haven't even unpacked from England yet so when I went to pack the other night I was finished after a couple of boxes and I kind of thought "really? That's it?!" |

you know what George Carlin said: Your home is just a place to keep your stuff!

I bet this is one of the slowest days at work you've ever experienced. Congrats on your new place.

Generally speaking, I agree.
Sure... a new place is nice and all, but the hassle of moving stuff and trying to decide where to put everything overrides that excitement. If you've thinned down your belongings, I imagine it's a lot easier. I just have a tough time throwing a lot of stuff away. I'm not a hoarder, but I am a bit of a packrat.
