it's too bad he's selling it... I don't know I could put almost 3/4 a million miles and not be attached to it

Oh man same here... I mean I've only got 200k on mine and there's no way I could ever sell it. Get another one, yes, but this one would have to stay either way

well I typed that prior to reading the link... dude may get 80000 pounds that's nearly $160,000 for his bike!

I might be able to part with a dear bike for that! but then again... at 80... everything I'd want to do with the $ he's probably already done in his 3/4 million miles... and is too old/fragile to do if he hasn't

That is cool! If I was him, I think I'd get a smaller, lighter bike if that's really the only issue, and try to get my own "million miles" even if it wasn't on the same bike! I hope I can still walk at 83, still riding would be the bomb!

honestly... I almost hope I DON'T make it to 83.... as frustrating as it's been going through this rehab, knowing what I used to be able to do, and can't now drives me nuts... and funny thing is I'll probably be able to get the majority of it back... I can't imagine knowing that once i can't do something anymore, I will NEVER be able to do it again....

I got so fucking frustrated not being able to tie my shoes or open a ketchup packet! it's the little things like that that make life torture, having to depend on others to do that shit for you SUCKS ASS and I wouldn't wish it on anyone...

it was/is truly a humbling experience
