Metal Detector
I'm sad to report that my first time being metal detected with the metal in my leg was a non-issue.
Went to an air show at the naval base and that little wand thingy barely made this little bitty chirp when passed over my leg. That was not nearly as fun as i thought it would be |

I'll be flying DFW and MCI in July, so I will be testing their equipment. I really want it to like freak out because I have a note from the doctor, but I just want like sirens to go off and stuff. It'd be awesome! |

I had a whole regional airport freaking out because of a "container of organic material" in my carry-on... they called over bomb sniffing dogs, cops, the works... it was my fucking dollar store lint-bruch (the plastic tube with masking tape on it). fucktards.

That's the truth. I had a siren go off when I walked through a detector on a class trip at D.C. a while back. I can't remember what building we were visiting, but they almost wanted to do the whole strip search thing. Turns out it was nothing more then a CD I had in one of my pockets (I used to wear the pants with like 10 pockets all over the place). It's more of an annoyance then anything.
You won't be laughing when you watch your plane take off without you.

I tested the court house metal detector(jury duty) with my after market collar bone. IT FAILED! Not that it mattered much a friend of mine was the officer maning the screen. He told me the airport ones are stronger but I have not tested them yet. I'll get back to you in a few weeks I have to fly to MN.

Thats what I like, being slammed on the floor and getting my cavity searched, especially if its a big burly hunk of a security guard.
