i am a bar tender, we trade shifts pretty often, not big deal

there is one guy that i have covered his ass for multiple bullshit reasons, from IM sick to IM hungover, to im swamped at school, to i have a test to its a friends birthday...

i have covered for two days of his so i could have off MOnday this fucker txts me and tells me he cant, his gf already made plans and he is sorry...

motherfucker, i am livid

i had to take my bike to a photog today and am getting prolly getting the best v-day gift ever and now i am fighting to just take the fucking night off...
I didnt even know i had to work today until a hour ago, they sent a bartender from our bar to the other sister club and just through me on the schedule...

Then quit and go somewhere else. Problem sovled. Apparently the guy who keeps taking off isn't making this gig his sole source of income or doesn't need the money.

problem is I make BANK here
i mean alot of cash, and i make the bar bank

as long as i am there i have no rules, keys to everything, can through a VIP party and it not cost anything for anyone, im well known and well liked by our regular clientele, i can do this while still in school and it doesnt interfere too much with life.

this job pays for my toys while i get a education. since my wrx engine blew up i needs this to make ends meet, if the cars engine didnt blow up i would of been fine, but that 9k cost and hurt deep for a grad student

At $9K I guess you bought that engine from a dealer? Seems like there could have been tons of subie forum members or import shops who could have sold you one for half that.

And I love how people these days txt bad news to someone, instead of calling them. Convenient.

Texting is so they dont have to man up and talk to the person so they dont have to hear the Disappointment/anger/whatever emotion it may be....And not feel like an ass.

I'd cover the shift to spite his ass and then when he asks again i'd say sure no problem...then an hour before i would text him and say your balls deep in your gf and you cant make it in.

Fuck him right back...And I also agree...9k for a new motor? theres such a Subie following out there...did you check forums and shit? Hell my old roomate has a WRX like yours and a 2010 STi he buys shit all the time for cheaper off of forums like this.

Its a bar, its not like working in an office. A lot of part timers, students, etc etc.
