Shop Class As Soul Craft
Anyone read "Shop Class As Soul Craft" by Matthew B. Crawford? It's about the once common craft of making and fixing things with our hands. He uses his experiences of working on old, I mean vintage, motorcycles in the book. Working on bikes can't be outsourced to India or China. So Crawford shows examples of the challenges and pride of finding out what's wrong with a bike, and the satisfaction of fixing it yourself. I did the Talking Book version and enjoyed it more than "The Art of Motorcycle Maintenance".
