World Cup 2010 South Africa
Our US squad had a tune-up match against Turkey today, they looked real good in the 2nd half. They did look crappy in the Czech game, although they did not play a number of starters.
If they get some confidence, they might just make it out of the first round...and make a game out of England. They are laking confidence and still make small mistakes, but if they correct those, I think they will Improve and make it to at least the second round. Most of our players on the US team play in the English Premier League, Italian Seria A, Scottish Premier League, Bundesligua, French League 1, Mexican Premier League and our own MLS. They can play. I think it is the most US players playing in Europe's first divisions we have ever had. |

BTW, Turkey is about as strong as Slovenia, but I would give the edge to Slovenia in a match on nuetral fields.
So today's game is what to expect...it's going to be tough for sure |
