I'll second that... had an Oktoberfest beer tonight too.

I had an Oktoberfest before I left the states. Really wanted to compare, but no dice.

I've still got a few Sam Octobers in my fridge. And some Pumpkin Ale.

I really want to try out a pumpkin ale.

Yay I got "real" german food today, we got to go out and about for dinner. Sadly, no dice on beer, so I had my jagerschnitzel with a cola. :(

so fucking busy, I think in the last week I have worked 37 hours at the bar, taken 13 hours of classes, taught for 6 hours and performed 15 hours of research... grand total of 71 hour work week

sucks. but it could be worse. wait till you hit 120

i am still a civilian for now though, more then likely not going to hit 120 for awhile lol

And wow what a difference it is here over in Germany. Makes me want to cry all the bikes I see out and about, with mine tucked neatly away back home sleeping the year away.

Saw A LOT today in town. And something I've NEVER seen before. EVERYONE was wearing a helmet AND a jacket, EVEN the scooter riders. Saw a group of 8 bikes pull up and every one was wearing helmet, jacket, gloves, boots and some type of motorcycle pants, most being leather.
It was awesome to see, how can we get that mentality over in the states?
