:whosr:
X Games Supermoto is on. Wild stuff! That has to be the least safe track I've ever seen. Zero runoff anywhere. |

I'll refrain from resurrecting the beer post, but I had a really great IPA last night.
It was Avery's IPA (cask conditioned) and though it was my third of fourth drink of the night, it was well worth it. If you find a place that has it on tap, I strongly suggest you try it... especially if you're a hop-head. :dthumb: |

http://www.averybrewing.com/ They don't list the IPA as a cask beer on their website, but that's what they had at Draught House last night. |
I had a Dogfish Head Pale Ale last weekend. :dribble:
Also Rogue Dead Guy Ale and Sam's Summer Ale. Definitely looking forward to sampling more of the wonderfully wide open world of beer I see before me. It's great having some disposable income. :rockwoot: |
I got the sam adams summer ale a couple weeks ago. Good stuff. There is a microbrewery here that has an incredible ipa.
|
I had a keg of Sam Summer Ale at my wedding. Good stuff.

Fucking right. I'm leaving early. Haven't done shit all week...and today is no different. Why hang out? Bailing at 245pm.
|
I'm going to try to head out early today too. Going to the drag strip tonight then Hallett tomorrow and Sunday. Should be a good weekend.
|
Nice way to start the weekend. :rockwoot:

rode to work today too... that's 40 days straight. cept I don't really have a choice LOL
|
I will be unable to ride to work for a length of time not to exceed 397 days.
It's a sad state of affairs. |
Ran horribly last night. First pass ever down a drag stip was 14.4 with a 1.4 second reaction time, FML. Got it down to an 11.5 at 125 mph with a .7xx reaction time. For my first time out, I am happy with this. Now I am getting ready to head to Hallett (hallettracing.com) for the rest of the weekend.

Finish line still isn't marked. I may have let off a little early one pass, then I just figured I would run as hard as I could until just before the ambulance, then hit the brakes.
Day at the real track was good for the first two sessions. After that, my buddy's brakes went out at the end of the front straight. Straight off of the track at probably 125, down to 115 before he hit the air fence straight on. Frame is cracked bad on both sides of the steering stem. Forks are bent, radiator is destroyed and the wheel is pushed back into the headers. He's got spare everything but frame so he is going to try to get one of those and have the bike back together by Sept 6-7. The best guess any of the people at the track had was a huge bubble in his brake lines. Corner worker verified there were no brakes, then they slowly came back to working again. |
that sucks

At Hallett, yeah. The last time was the beginning of May because he rode my bike at Hallett 3 weeks later on the 29th or so. Then he was out on his bike for the June trackday when his roommate went off in turn one. This time it was him that went off. Frame is cracked BAD on both sides of the steering stem. He is hoping to have a new frame and everything in/on it by friday night to run at drags.
|
so after long pondering why a company would produce what is obviously a streetfighter but would then attempt to market it as a cafe bike when the only claim to that title was the addition of clubman bars. i really didnt want to believe they were simply trading on the name for sales and then it occured to me that ducati may have trademarked the piss out of the other name. its a longshot but i suppose ill give buell the benefit of the doubt this time
|
|
wtf is that trip?
|
Friday. Shitty weather.

Looks like I am headed back to the drag strip tonight if the weather is decent. Going to the track again next weekend, again, just to watch. Hopefully I can save up enough money to ride again in October. |

Question. Has anyone here ever used Concerta or Adderall? What were your impressions of both? I have slight ADHD and have used both a couple of times. Just wanted some others opinions on the two.
