I hate Kmart with a passion. They never have all the things I need, and when I do get my stuff, it takes forever to find someone to check out. They have max of one lane open.

Cutty72 04-19-2010 10:37 AM

Her job doesn't pay enough to move anywhere. In fact, she's outy as soon as she can find a better gig.

one lane open works when there are only 3 customers in the whole store.

azoomm 04-19-2010 11:25 AM

I won't shop at Walmart out of principle. There is a reason their prices are the way they are, its a combination of shady business practice and sub-par product. I won't support either, so I choose to support other businesses.

I agree and thank you. It's a shame there aren't more people like us that feel the same way.

ontwo 04-19-2010 11:36 AM

One night they had zero lanes open. Had to check out in the jeweler section

year or two ago i decided i wanted a v-wing model (star wars crap) to hang from my ceiling. After about a months worth of epic searching i finally discovered one at the local kfart. one small problem, they wouldnt sell it to me. Gave me some bs about how it wasnt in system and they were contractually obligated to wait for a certain date and a stockboy fucked up and put them out early and blah blah blah you cant have it even if we used to sell the exact same thing six months ago (apparently it was a rerelease) and even though it had a price tag on it. They offered to put it in the back for me and hold it until they could sell it which was some two months later. Showed up on the proper day and they had no idea what i was talking about, cursed the manager out and all of a sudden they figured out where my model was. Fuck that place they cant have any more of my money.

Full Throttle 04-19-2010 10:01 PM

Yea Im looking for an R6 2000-2004 model for about 3k or so. My buddy has a 2000 R6 that he is selling for 3k but the stay is broken on it and he still wants to sell it for 3200 on Craigslist and Im not going to pay that then pay 300 more to replace the stay on it. Im thinking it also needs new tires so im trying to convince him to sell it to me for 2700. But he doesn't want to budge

http://chattanooga.craigslist.org/mcy/1692070915.html

Amber Lamps 04-19-2010 10:11 PM

tons of them on ebay and Wera...

example,$70

Full Throttle 04-19-2010 10:22 PM

Yea thats true. Okay i may buy his then. I still want him to sell it for 2700 or 2800 though lol. Oh its got Blue neons on it to i forgot about those.

There are very few situations where I would purchase something from a friend... major purchases between good friends don't always end well.

Full Throttle 04-19-2010 10:44 PM

Well ive ridden the bike before and it runs great the only thing wrong with it is the stay which needs replacing. I know its worth 3000 but it would be a killer deal if i could get it for 2700-2800.

Um how do you break a fairing stay without breaking anything else?

Full Throttle 04-20-2010 01:02 AM

He dropped it once at a stop light a car almost hit him. The mirror broke and there is a small crack in the head units fairing but nothing else. idk how the stay broke so easily but i was in the parking lot of the mall and saw him drop it. I was there in 2 secs flat giving the driver of that car an ear full.

Im going to have to do something about the bike. ya see the rents dont like me having the one i got and if they see i sold mine they will be ecstatic but if they see i buy another one the very next day well. i may be finding myself another place to live. So do i store it nearby or house it at a reliable friends house thats about the same distance at a storage place?

I consider the garage addition falls into the "toy" area, cause it will be used to house and work on the toys.

Cutty72 04-21-2010 05:39 AM

Besides, when you starting calling your DD a toy, you will end up with bigger problems anyway.

Probably something you should have discussed with the parents if you still live there. That whole "my rules under my roof" thing. Tell them straight up, its not worth lying about. If they kick you out, go live with a buddy.

Hey hey hey easy. You don't know my parents. I tell them i'm getting a bike and they go ape shit. I told her i was going to sell this and get another and she went ape shit. so when i sold it i just didn't mention getting another to save myself from hours and hours of her yelling in my ear. Its better for my health lol. Went through this ordeal once before and they didn't kick me out. its a possibility but i don't think it will happen.

i am undecided on what to do

my choices are either, buy a cheap car to drive about with the intent of fixing the wrx up over time

riding the bike until the car is fixed aka saving money like a mad man

selling the shell, cutting my losses and chocking this up to a life lesson learned

i have about 4k in the bank that i have been saving up for trips and an emergencies, this i deem an emergency
