Haven't made time to organize it so I just pulled everything out and stacked 70% of my ammo and all my rifles. Almost got the door stuck shut.

Nice

I got put on a "no more guns til you get a safe" command. I have a safe any saved money for more guns, if they don't fit in it, I am not too worried. LoL

Yours has a better burn time. Mine is only 1400F for 30 minutes. My house better burn down quick.

Like a BOSS.

Mine is 600lbs empty and was a bitch to get in the house. Its now full of surplus ammo. Its not going anywhere.

Same here. I took the door off and stripped the insides (added more fireproofing and changed the interior configuration some) and that made it light enough for 3 people to muscle into the room I wanted it. Then I drilled (4) 5/8" holes for all threaded rod and dropped 4 rods down thru the floor to below the floor joists. In the crawlspace I mounted unistrut to the bottoms of the threaded rods with a joist between 2 bolts in an X pattern. That safe's not moving, but It's packed full. I have other avenues I'm exploring now.

WHen I build our next house I'm savaging a bank vault door (actually it's an old elementary school walk-in vault door) I have at the office warehouse and building a 12" block solid poured "room" in a corner of the basement with at LEAST 12'x12' for guns, ammo, and "other" dry storage. Think "Tremors" rec room

they push it over onto a bed sheet and pull it out, 100lb safe lady pulled an empty safe across the room..... 2x200lb, men, yeah it'll get out if the house

Rangerscott 10-17-2013 02:18 PM

You cant get it out of the room on its side. Theyre fucked.

RACER X 10-17-2013 02:30 PM

you got it in there, they have more determination and don't give a damm... I essentially helped my neighbor move his safe in/ out total of 3x, that basturd owes me, lol

dang 22/45 sold before I got there, had a low round count " gold " one w a burris fastfire sight for $500, lined up... uh

If they can get into my house and not trigger the alarm or trigger the alarm and get it up the steep ass hill. I am fine replacing all my shit via insurance. LoL

If they want to get a vehicle in there to get the safe out and up the steep ass hill, they will have to crash through my fence. If people are that desperate, I am sure my safe is the least thing I will be worried about...

It would be pretty damn impressive.
