Best of the West (texasshootingrange.com) just opened up in Liberty Hill. It goes out to 1000 yards, and doesn't list any FMJ restrictions.

Indeed. I only have the two handguns and I kinda prefer shooting my rifles.
We went to a place near New Braunfels once, but they are definitely out of the way for my purposes.

I heard about them. Now that I'm moving a little further north that place might be viable. That and the one near Seward's Junction just seemed too far to drive from my current place.

New family photo. LOL

I picked up the AR15 lower receiver today. Decided it was time to get my feet wet and build one. :D

Time to figure out how I want to build it out now.

Whatever you decide, spend the money for the gas piston, it will save you plenty of headaches and time cleaning later, its totally worth it

FYI

Since I picked up the M&P 15-22 for the boy I must admit I shoot it a heckova lot more than I allow him too :rockwoot: But as a result I got tired of buying ammo locally and getting raped.......so I went to ammotogo and got a 1000 round brick for $34

Now I can't stop buying ammo every month :skep:
