Garmin Quest designed for motorcycles and i mount it with RAM mount.

Much better than the new fangled 3D GPS stuff out now. The Quest and Quest II shows the route just like it looks on a map from above.

Ordered a garmin 885t and ram mount. I hope it works out.

strongly considering a new GPS... mine works fine... but I cannot connect it to my computer... which is where I do all my routing... and if I plan a route on the unit itself... and it's got more than 10 way points... it "calculates" forever.

Well the garmin 885t seems to be good. I'll test the routing tomorrow. The mp3 player works nicely and I can enter in waypoints by selecting a spot on the map, address, or by coordinates.

I just have the Garmin 205W that I use in the car and can throw it in my pocket or tankbag on the bike. I don't have a mount on the bike for it but would like to get one.

I also have whatever GPS came with my Blackberry Curve.

So far so good with these.

Work will be issuing us the 205W. I plan on getting a mount for the V-strom for it. Too bad they won't get issued until late June/early July. Knowing the gov't, that translates to "sometime in December."
